Quite Simply the Best Coffee Maker I have EVER owned!
I have owned several drip machines over the last 16 years, everything from $20 Wally-world cheapos - all the way to premium Brauns etc costing more than this unit. So I am not exaggerating, when I claim how good this is.
Bunn has done an outstanding job translating their well known "Industrial" machines, into a stylish compact unit. The unit still uses the pre-load heating system which ensures the water is very hot, and the spray head makes for even and quick brewing.
I am giving this an very enthusiastic 4-Stars for this unit. I am only holding back a Star because of the "Power On" light, it is: small, dim & partially obscured. Other than that, this is a great value.

I purchased this to replace another Bunn we had for about 7 years. The old one started leaking finally. The one thing I didn't like about the old Bunn was that it used a glass carafe and burner to keep the coffee warm, or your had to nuke each cup. This aluminum carafe has kept coffee at a drinkable temperature for up to 3 hours and it doesn't get bitter or burnt like it would on a burner. It takes about 3 minutes to brew a pot and the grounds seem to be evenly saturated each time. It's a little taller than I expected which is why I imagine the fill port on top rotates sideways instead of flipping up. This is the only part of the coffeepot that seems a little flimsy to me. Overall, a great coffeepot that brews quickly and keeps the coffee warm for hours. I'd buy again.

Finally, a well made coffee pot. Even the coffee basket feels heavier then most. As a rule, we have been buying Cuisinart pots for the last few years. They don't seem to hold up very well and we are tired of wasting our money. Thought we would try something without the electronics that can go out (like the Cuisinart). This is a well built pot with a thermos that keeps coffee hot for several hours. It's easy to use, coffee is ready in less then three minutes. Not sure why it took us this long to finally try it. We use it every day and sometimes twice a day. It makes great coffee and keeps it warm without the burned taste. Worth every penny.
